Commitment

Aiden Vuong is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including those relying on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or voice control.

Conformance Target

This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This includes semantic HTML structure, descriptive link and image text, sufficient colour contrast, and full keyboard navigability.

Measures Taken

• Semantic landmarks (navigation, main content, footer) for screen reader users
• Keyboard-operable navigation, forms, and interactive controls
• Descriptive labels on form fields and icon-only links (e.g. social icons)
• A high-contrast dark theme designed to meet colour contrast requirements
• Breadcrumb navigation to support orientation across the site

Known Limitations

As an actively developed portfolio site, some newly added content (project screenshots and video previews on the Projects pages) may not yet include full text alternatives. Known issues are corrected as they are identified.
